New Secretary of Defense Weighs In on Women in Combat Roles – Here’s His Take (Video)

President Trump’s new Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, isn’t mincing words on the issue of women in combat roles. A decorated 20-year military veteran with two Bronze Stars, Hegseth laid out his views in a recent video, making it clear he believes women should not be placed on the front lines. His reasoning? Hegseth argues that the priority of the U.S. military should be unmatched combat readiness, which he says is compromised when roles are determined by “woke” ideology rather than what works best for combat effectiveness.
Here’s the video that went viral:

Don’t let the propagandists lie to you. Pete Hegseth is not against women serving in combat if they meet the standards that are required. Lowering standards in order to fill a quota is not an option.
Here’s the full interview:

Hegseth is known for his strong faith and patriotism, sporting tattoos of the phrase We The People, a Christian cross, and even “Deus Vult,” meaning “God wills it.”

He’s unapologetically firm on protecting the traditions and strength of the U.S. military, aiming to keep it free from the influence of what he calls “Marxist leftists who want to undermine Western Civilization.”

In Hegseth’s words, “This ends now.” The Secretary of Defense’s stance is already making waves, with supporters praising him for defending the traditional values that they feel make America strong.
