Video: VP Vance’s Masterful Response to Reporter Claiming “This Is a Country Founded by Immigrants” – Pure Patriot Energy

In his first major interview since taking office, Vice President JD Vance didn’t hold back as he defended the Trump administration’s sweeping immigration reforms and executive actions. Appearing on “Face the Nation” with Margaret Brennan, Vance dismantled the tired narrative that the U.S. is obligated to uphold outdated immigration policies simply because it was “founded by immigrants.”

When pressed on the recent court challenge to ending birthright citizenship, Vance called it “the dumbest immigration policy in the world.” He explained:

“Just because we were founded by immigrants doesn’t mean we have to continue policies that make no sense today. No country in the world grants citizenship to children born to temporary visitors or illegal aliens—and America shouldn’t either.”

Vance also addressed criticisms about prioritizing immigration reforms over economic issues, stating that securing the border and enforcing immigration laws are crucial to protecting American jobs and national security.

The vice president’s unapologetic stance reflects the administration’s hardline approach to immigration and resonated with many who feel America’s policies have been too lenient for too long.
